and children are important to us at First UMC!

Each Sunday morning:

9:00 am Worship-Children's Church

Third floor in the Movie Room.

Children grades Pre-K thru 3 are invited to attend Children's Church and participate in worship songs, along with a Bible lesson. Snacks will be provided. Children's Church will be dismissed from the Sanctuary about 15 minutes after service begins. The first Sunday of each month, children will remain in the sanctuary with their parents, as this is Communion Sunday.

10:00 am FUMC Kids Sunday School

Third floor in the classroom at the top of the stairs.

Children grades K thru 5 are welcome to join us.

11:00 am Worship

Children are welcome in every service!

Children that attend the 11:00am service may sit with their family. Coloring/Reading activities are available. Children under age 6 are welcome in the nursery during this time.

First Kids After School

Every Wednesday from 3:45 pm until 5:15 pm. Students will ride the school bus from Marion Elementary, and the church bus from Oak Point Elementary.

SUMMER ACTIVITIES

Vacation Bible School, Camp In The Community, and other fun activities.

Upward Basketball and Upward Cheerleading

Hi, I'm Ginger Moore, AKA sports director, entertainer, fire patrol and music enthusiast.

I joined the First UMC team in 2005 as the First Kids Director. I am also a 5th grade teacher at Marion Primary School. My favorite part of the First Kids ministry is the kids! My dream for this ministry, among many other things, is to have a large children's choir that performs for our community like when I was a little girl.
